LEGAL TERMS & CONDITIONS – MYCROKLEEN FESTIVE CLEANING HAMPER COMPETITION

1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is MycroKleen (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”). This promotional competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms Inc., Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform.

2. Duration

The promotional competition commences on 1 December 2025 and terminates at 23:59 on 31 December 2025 (“the Competition Period”). Any entries received after the closing date shall be deemed invalid and will not be considered.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Participants must be natural persons, citizens or permanent residents of the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 (eighteen) years or older, and in possession of a valid South African identity document.
3.2 Directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, suppliers, advertising and promotional agencies of the Promoter, and their immediate family members and household members, are excluded from participation.
3.3 Entry on behalf of another person, duplicate accounts, or fraudulent entries will result in disqualification.

4. Entry Mechanism

4.1 To enter, eligible participants are required to:

  • Follow the official MycroKleen social media page hosting the competition;
  • Like and share the official competition post; and
  • Comment “I’m ready for a Kleen New Year” on the competition post.

4.2 Only entries that satisfy all entry requirements will be deemed valid.
4.3 No purchase is necessary to enter and entry is free.
4.4 Participants are limited to one (1) entry per person.

5. Prize Details

5.1 A total of three (3) prizes are available, comprised of:

  • 1 x MycroKleen Auto Care Hamper;
  • 1 x MycroKleen Household Cleaning Hamper;
  • 1 x MycroKleen Industrial Heavy-Duty Cleaning Hamper.

5.2 The prize is not transferable, not exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other consideration.
5.3 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize item with another product of equivalent value should stock, supply, or circumstances require such substitution.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

6.1 Winners will be selected by random draw from valid entries and the draw will be conducted on or before 7 January 2026.
6.2 Winners will be notified via social media message (Messenger) or comment reply using the profile handle entered.
6.3 If the Promoter is unable to make contact with a selected winner within 2 (two) calendar days, despite reasonable attempts, the winner will forfeit the prize and a new winner will be selected.
6.4 The Promoter’s decision regarding the winner is final and binding, and no correspondence or appeal will be entered into.

7. Prize Delivery

7.1 Prize delivery or collection will be arranged within Gauteng only.
7.2 The Promoter accepts no liability for any delay, damage, loss, or defect arising during delivery, or after receipt of the prize by the winner.

8. Publicity and Personal Information

8.1 By entering this competition, participants consent to the Promoter using their name, social media handle, and/or photographs for promotional, marketing, or publicity purposes, without remuneration, provided such use complies with POPIA privacy requirements.
8.2 The Promoter will not share personal information with third parties unless required for competition administration, legal compliance, or with the participant’s consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 The Promoter shall not be held liable for:

  • Incorrect or incomplete entry details;
  • Technical failures of any kind;
  • Any loss, damage, or injury arising out of participation in the competition or use of the prize.

9.2 Participants enter and accept the prize entirely at their own risk.

10. General

10.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, and participants shall have no claim against the Promoter in such event.
10.2 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
10.3 By participating in the competition, all entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
